Do the original VW functions (steering wheel controls, climate control, reverse camera, Dynaudio) remain available?
Yes, completely. Dynavin uses a vehicle-specific CAN-Bus solution. Steering wheel controls, Climatronic, parking sensors, and the Dynaudio sound system continue to work perfectly. No error codes or warning lights appear.
Does the original reverse camera remain functional?
Yes. On newer Passat models (e.g. Passat B8), the original reverse camera is generally supported directly. On older generations (Passat B6/B7), the optional adapter DVN-VCR-A may be required to use the original camera including dynamic guidelines. Aftermarket cameras with RCA connectors work without an adapter.
How does it connect to the internet?
