How difficult is the installation of a Dynavin navigation system in my Renault Captur?
Most owners complete the installation in 1–2 hours. Dynavin Slim and Dynavin 10 Premium both use the same connectors and wiring harness as the original radio — no cutting, no soldering, and no coding required. The Dynavin Slim is even easier to install thanks to its thinner, more integrated design. Free HD video tutorials are available on the Dynavin YouTube channel. Certified installation partners are available across Germany.
Which Dynavin model fits my Renault Captur?
Dynavin offers vehicle-specific solutions for the Captur:
Renault Captur (2013–2019): DS-RNCAP / D10-RNCAP Premium (9 inch)
Renault Captur (other generations / platform shared with Dacia Sandero & Duster): DS-DAC / D10-DAC Premium (8 inch)
Each device is equipped with a matching CAN-Bus adapter and original connectors.
What is the difference between Dynavin Slim and Dynavin 10 Premium?
Dynavin Slim runs on a lightweight Linux system and is optimised for fast, stable Wireless CarPlay and Android Auto. Dynavin 10 Premium runs a full Android 14 system and adds offline navigation (Dynaway), a Head-Up Display, a more powerful digital amplifier, and access to the Google Play Store. Both retain original vehicle functions. Real-time traffic alerts via Dynavin Connect are included free on the Dynavin 10 Premium (and can also be displayed on the HUD). On the Dynavin Slim, you can try Dynavin Connect free. After the 31-day free trial, only a one-time payment is required for permanent activation at flex.dynavin.com.
Do the original Renault Captur functions (steering wheel controls, reverse camera, parking sensors) remain intact?
Yes, both the Dynavin Slim and the Dynavin 10 Premium fully retain all original Renault Captur functions. Both models use a vehicle-specific CAN-Bus solution. Steering wheel controls, reverse camera and parking sensors continue to work perfectly. No error codes or warning lights appear.
Does the Dynavin Slim support DAB+?
DAB/DAB+ is available on the Dynavin Slim with the optional DS-DAB tuner (sold separately). On the Dynavin 10 Premium, DAB/DAB+ is built in as standard.
How long is the warranty and how does support work in case of problems?
